Masters of the Air is, without question, one of the most hyped shows of the entire year. It's the kind of blockbuster TV event that unites dads and sons across the land.
Now, the starry ensemble cast—headlined by Austin Butler and Barry Keoghan—is giving us a whole new reason to be excited about the series: they keep showing up to promote it in truly mega fits.
Last night, the Apple TV+ war epic had its world premiere at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles. Butler rocked up with his signature scruffy locks (Masters of the Hair?) and a classic double-breasted suit by Burberry. In typical Daniel Lee fashion—the Bottega Veneta alum that now helms Britain's biggest luxury house—it was elegant and subtle, with quiet vertical stripes and perfectly wide lapels.
It's the type of throwback leading man ensemble we've come to expect from Butler: During his globe-trotting Elvis press tour in 2022, the California-born actor donned suit after suit after suit—and looked handsome as hell throughout.
Austin Butler and Barry Keoghan Suited Up in Polar Opposite Ways
If Butler represented Old Hollywood, Keoghan gave us a glimpse of New Hollywood style. The Saltburn star indulged his inner menswear weirdo with a cropped, sleeveless jacket and matching wide-leg trousers from Dolce & Gabbana.
He also jumped into a pair of chunky black Christian Louboutin boots, and left his enormous biceps out in the open. Listen: he's earned it after training for the nude dance scene in Saltburn. It's a fit that not everyone can work, sure, but Keoghan looks as comfortable as ever in avant-garde fashion.
Right now, Butler and Keoghan are two of the best-dressed dudes out there, proving there's more than one route to menswear glory these days. Expect to see more heoric looks from both men as awards season chugs along and Masters of the Air continues its rollout.
