"Love the Poster 😍 So exicited for Season 11 🫶🏻," another added. "Can’t wait!! April 7 will be here before we know it!! ❤️🇨🇦," a different fan declared.
What's more, Erin released an official statement to the outlet about her elation for the show's return. "Time has flown by since the end of season 10, and I cannot put into words how thrilled I am for the premiere of season 11 of When Calls the Heart," she said. "It's such a warm feeling to know that we have the loyalty, love, and longevity to make it this far and that is a true testament to our viewers."
"I'm beyond proud and grateful to our hardworking crew, writers, producers, cast, and Hallmark Channel for their vision and support," she added. "I cannot wait for viewers to tune in to this season and to continue on this journey with all of us! Season 11 delivers more heart than ever before!"
The news of When Calls the Heart season 11 premiering on April 7 comes just a few months after co-creator Brian Bird gave an update on the status of When Calls the Heart season 11, talking about the show's future release date on the Hearties to Hearties podcast in mid-October 2023.
“It’s in conversation. We are hopeful that it will be sooner rather than later," he explained. "However, as our partner Brad Krevoy says, we’re just happy to be on the air, and we will land in Hearties’ homes whenever we can get them and whenever they’ll let us. It’s definitely an ongoing conversation right now."
That wasn't the only thing Brian discussed in relation to new installments. While the SAG-AFTRA strike caused many projects to pause production, When Calls the Heart was one of the few granted by an interim agreement with the actor's union to continue working.
The strikes clearly dropped a bomb on the whole industry, and so that actually has some impact on that question," he added. "It may or may not help us or change things, but we don’t get to make those decisions. The network gets to decide when they want to air it, so we will show up whenever they allow us."
Thankfully, the wait is almost over!
