The actress' latest post got a quick response from her former dancing co-stars
Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach has been inundated with compliments as she shared a new snap on social media. The actress took her fans and followers back to before Christmas when she put on a stunning display during an outing with her best friend.
Ellie appears to have been enjoying some freedom in recent weeks after Strictly came to an end. After 12 weeks of learning how to dance with professional dance partner Vito Coppola, the pair made it through to the final where they went up against Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.
To be in with a chance of winning the 2023 run of the BBC One dance contest, they had to perform three dances each. While the judges gave their usual feedback and awarded their scores, the winning decision was down to the public and they chose Ellie and Vito as their winners.

Their win also meant that the pair also made history as Ellie, at the age of 22, is now the youngest-ever winner of the hit dance competition. Since then, Ellie has been settling back into her post-Strictly life with her loved ones,
Last month, when the Christmas festivities were out of the way, the former soap star was reunited with her best friend, Jade, as they headed out into Manchester to one of the city's newest haunts, Fenix - the new glamorous restaurant from the team behind popular city centre eatery Tattu.
Taking to Instagram, Ellie shared a number of snaps of herself and Jade posing for the camera from their table. The pair looked gorgeous in similar black outfits and while Jade kept her brunette locks down, Ellie opted to slick her tresses back into a stylish pony and added a bold red lipstick to her lips.
As they grinned with their glasses of wine, Ellie said: "Festive fun with my best friend in the world," alongside a string of emojis including a red love heart and red lips. And her fans and followers were quick to flood the comments section with compliments.
And now, Ellie has returned to Instagram with another snap from the same outing. This time, the former soap star, known for playing Faye Windass for 12 years in ITV's Corrie, posed solo for the camera as she turned herself to the side of her chair to show off her legs covered in heart-patterned sheer tights.
"Rosè & Red lipstick for 2024," she captioned the post and it was her Strictly co-stars who were quick to kick off the comments. Actress Amanda Abbington said: "Queen." Reality star and documentary maker Zara McDermott wrote: "Pretty little angel." BBC Asian Network presenter Nikita Kanda posted: "So hot."
And her fans and followers were also keen to comment. @susan.bailey.12 said: "Looking fab! Ellie's latest post comes as she prepares to reunite with Vito. The Italian dancer headed back to Italy to spend the festive break with his family but he'll soon be back in the UK as rehearsals begin for the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2024 tour and it's also been revealed they'll appear on This Morning next week.
But while their reunion is incoming, fans are desperate to see them back together. @myeloma_mumzy shared on Ellie's latest post: "It’s so sad not seeing you and @vitocoppola in daily pictures together. Let’s hope things change soon."
